The Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki and his Deputy, Philip Shaibu, have been sworn-in for a second term in office.
Obaseki was sworn-in at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin, the state capital, on Thursday.
The incumbent governor had defeated his closest rival, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu during the last governorship election in the state.
Obaseki, who was the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had defeated Ize-Iyamu of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
