Unknown gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted Mr Itakorode Bayo, the General Manager of Igorfem Oil & Gas filling station, Igede Ekiti in Irepodun/Ifelodun local government of Ekiti State.
It was gathered that the incident occurred on Thursday evening around 7:30pm along Isan Ekiti road in the state.
The kidnap of Itakorode Bayo, popularly known as Uncle-B, made the number of people kidnapped in Ekiti in the last few months to be 11.
A few days ago, gunmen suspected to be kidnappers abducted Agbanigo Isaac, who was coming from his farm along Ikere–Ise Ekiti road in Ikere Local Government areas of Ekiti State.
It was gathered that the incident occurred on Saturday evening around 5:30pm.
Agbanigo Isaac, popularly known as ‘Ayee’ is a driver and a businessman. He is also an agropreneur.
On Tuesday, April 6, gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen attacked some farmers in their farm settlement at Irele Ekiti in Ikole Local government area of Ekiti State.
It was gathered that the Fulani herdsmen stormed the farm settlement in the early hours of Tuesday, unleashed terror on the farmers and carted away their money.
Three of the farmers are seriously injured and rushed to the Specialist Hospital, Ikole Ekiti for treatment.
