The family of popular international preacher and founder of the Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association, Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai, has confirmed his death.
According to a statement issued by the family, the revered evangelist passed away on October 6, 2025, at the age of 80. The announcement, titled “Glorious Transition,” described his passing as the peaceful homegoing of a devoted servant of God who lived his life spreading the gospel and touching lives.
Rev. Ukpai was known for his over sixty years of active ministry, during which he travelled across Nigeria and beyond, preaching the message of salvation and performing crusades that drew large crowds.
