Adamawa ADC Chairman Resigns as Fintiri’s Aide

The Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Adamawa State, Shehu Kambile, has resigned from his position as Special Assistant to Governor Ahmadu Fintiri.

Kambile announced his resignation on Wednesday in Yola, the state capital. He explained that the decision would allow him to focus fully on strengthening the ADC as the main opposition party in the state.

He stated that his appointment as Special Assistant was made through the Inter-Party Advisory Council framework, aimed at promoting unity among political parties. However, he decided to step aside to concentrate on building a stronger and more effective opposition front.

Kambile also expressed appreciation to Governor Fintiri for the opportunity to serve in his administration and commended former Vice President Atiku Abubakar for his role in encouraging inclusive political participation within the ADC.

He urged members of the ADC to remain united and committed to the party’s growth and success.
