The Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, on Wednesday appointed Mukhtar Usman Galadima as the Senior Special Assistant on Development Control and Planning. The announcement was made through a statement issued by the Minister’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media.
Galadima, a veteran town planner, has worked for more than three decades in key departments of the FCTA, including the Department of Development Control under the Abuja Metropolitan Management Council and the Satellite Towns Development Agency. He served as the Director of Development Control from 2016 until his retirement from the civil service last month.
During his career, he took part in major ministerial committees such as the Abuja Masterplan Restoration Task Team, the committee on revoked titles, and the team responsible for reviewing land use changes. His new appointment begins immediately, according to the statement issued by the FCTA.
