ADC Shuts National Secretariat for Year-End Break

The African Democratic Congress has announced that it will temporarily close its National Secretariat as part of its end-of-year break. The decision was made to allow party officials and staff observe the Christmas and New Year holidays.
The announcement was made on Tuesday by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi. He explained that the secretariat will stop full operations on December 23, 2025, and reopen on January 5, 2026.
According to the party, only essential skeletal services will run during the period, while other official activities at the National Secretariat will be paused until work resumes in the new year. This arrangement is to ensure that basic duties are handled while staff members take a break.
The ADC also expressed appreciation to its members, partners, and supporters for their cooperation and support throughout the year. The party said the loyalty of its supporters remains important to its growth and stability.
It added that it remains committed to its core values and democratic participation as it prepares for its programmes and political activities in the coming year.
