The All Progressives Congress (APC) national chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, has approved the appointment of 15 aides to support the party’s administrative and strategic work. The appointments were announced by the chairman’s Special Adviser on Media and Communication, Mr. Abimbola Tokin, on Wednesday.
The new aides include Special Advisers, Advisers, and Senior Special Assistants tasked with improving coordination, policy planning, and engagement with stakeholders at the APC national secretariat. They are expected to use their experience and skills to support the national chairman in carrying out party activities effectively.
The Special Advisers named are Sen. Danladi Sankara for Political Matters, Daniel Oritsegbubemi for National Assembly Matters, and Dr. Sorochi Longdet for Research, Strategy, and Planning. Advisers include Mr. Jubrin Surajo for Community Engagement, Mr. Paul Domsing for Special Duties, Mr. Suleiman Bukari for Intelligence Coordination, and Prof. Taiwo Balofin as Honorary Adviser on Diaspora Coordination and Mobilisation.
The Senior Special Assistants include Imran Muhammad for New Media, Mildred Bako for Civil Society Organisations, Juliet Obinta for Youth Mobilisation, and Ismaila Mohammed for Conflict Management. Others are Zarah Onyinye handling Media–Public Affairs, Mrs. Enenedu Idusuyi for Protocol, Yusuf Dingyadi for Media, and Adaku Apugo for Media.
The appointments take immediate effect, and the chairman congratulated the appointees, urging them to demonstrate loyalty, dedication, and commitment to the ideals and objectives of the APC.
This move is part of the party’s broader effort to enhance organizational efficiency and strengthen its operations ahead of future political engagements.
