The African Democratic Congress has called on its newly admitted members to unite and work together to shape the future of Nigeria ahead of the 2027 general election. The party made the call on Saturday while welcoming new entrants who recently joined its ranks from other political platforms.

The development follows the recent defection of several political figures to the ADC, including former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi and other well-known leaders from the South-East.
