ADC set to Begins Nationwide Membership Registration

The African Democratic Congress will begin its nationwide membership registration on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in Abuja as part of plans to expand its base and strengthen its structure across Nigeria. The event will take place at Barcelona Hotel in Wuse 2 and will serve as the official launch of the exercise.
The announcement was made by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, through his verified X account. He stated that the registration drive forms part of the party’s broader plan to build a stronger internal system and widen its reach at the grassroots level.
According to the party, the exercise is designed to reorganise its membership records and attract new members from across the country. The leadership views the move as a step toward building a wider support base and encouraging greater participation within the party.
The registration process is expected to extend to all 36 states of the federation as well as the Federal Capital Territory. Party officials say it will involve coordinated mobilisation efforts aimed at drawing in supporters and strengthening local chapters.
The initiative comes at a time when political parties are adjusting their strategies ahead of future elections. By rolling out a nationwide registration campaign, the ADC aims to position itself as a stronger contender through increased membership and improved internal coordination.
Party leaders are expected to attend the launch in Abuja, where further details about the registration process and next steps will be shared with members and supporters.
