Blessing Onuh, a member of the House of Representatives representing Otukpo/Ohimini Federal Constituency in Benue State, has taken up a new political role as part of efforts to support President Bola Tinubu’s second-term bid. Her appointment as National Woman Leader of the Take Action Campaign Organization was made public in Abuja by the group’s Director General, Tony Nwulu.
Her new position places her at the centre of mobilisation activities aimed at promoting the president’s re-election in 2027. The campaign group is focused on presenting the administration’s policies and programmes to Nigerians while building wider political support across different groups, especially women.
Following the announcement, Onuh expressed readiness to carry out her responsibilities, stating that she would commit her time and effort to help secure victory for Tinubu in the next general election. She also aligned herself with the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which forms the foundation of the president’s policies and governance plans.
The development is drawing attention due to her family background. Her father, David Mark, is currently the National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress and has been facing political pressure over his leadership role in the party. Despite this, Onuh’s involvement in a campaign supporting the ruling party introduces a new dynamic to the political landscape.
The Take Action Campaign Organization continues to expand its structure as part of preparations for the 2027 elections, with a focus on reaching voters and building support for the president across the country.
