President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is expected to formally receive the APC certificate of return along with the party’s flag after emerging as the party’s presidential candidate ahead of the 2027 general election.
The development was made public through information released by presidential spokesperson Bayo Onanuga. According to the announcement, the ceremony will serve as the official confirmation of Tinubu’s emergence following the completion of the party’s internal electoral process across the country.
