Governor Dikko Radda has announced that members of the All Progressives Congress in Katsina State have endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Radda made this known on Saturday while speaking with journalists during a party exercise held in his hometown. According to him, party members from different wards and local government areas participated in the process aimed at showing support for Tinubu’s continued leadership under the APC platform.
The governor said the exercise reflected active participation by party members and showed unity within the state chapter of the APC as preparations gradually begin ahead of the next election cycle.
He explained that supporters turned out across different areas to back Tinubu as the party’s preferred presidential candidate for the 2027 election.
Radda also praised the level of participation recorded during the exercise, saying it showed confidence in both the party structure and the democratic process.
Reacting to criticisms directed at the President, the governor maintained that Tinubu still enjoys strong political support among APC members and many residents across Katsina State.
He further expressed confidence that the APC would perform strongly during the 2027 elections and retain support across different positions at the state and national levels.
The declaration adds to early political activities and alignments already taking shape within parties as preparations for the next general election continue across the country.
