The Labour Party on Friday in Abuja congratulated Abia State Governor Alex Otti on completing three years in office and expressed support for his second-term ambition ahead of the 2027 elections.
The party said Otti has remained one of its strongest success stories since the 2023 elections and described his leadership in Abia as one of the most notable outcomes of the party’s performance at the polls.
Party officials said his time in office has shown a style of governance that reflects the party’s ideals, adding that his administration has been widely talked about by different groups across the country for its reforms and development efforts.
The party also said it is proud that Otti emerged from its platform and that his leadership has helped shape the party’s image in national politics.
According to the party, Otti has continued to focus on governance in Abia despite political pressure and distractions, and has remained committed to delivering projects and policies aimed at improving the state.
