Ekiti Guber: David Mark, Aregbesola Storm Ado-Ekiti for ADC Mega Rally

Ahead of Saturday’s governorship election in Ekiti State, leaders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), including National Chairman David Mark and National Secretary Rauf Aregbesola, arrived in Ado-Ekiti on Thursday to take part in a major campaign rally organised by the party.

The rally drew a large crowd of party members, supporters and political stakeholders who gathered in the state capital to show support for the ADC governorship candidate, Oluwadare Abejide. The event formed part of the party’s final push to mobilise voters before they head to the polls.

During the gathering, ADC leaders expressed confidence in the party’s chances in the election and assured supporters that the campaign would continue until the conclusion of the contest. Mark told party faithful that the leadership remained committed to supporting Abejide throughout the electoral process and was optimistic about the outcome of the poll.

The rally added to the growing political activities across Ekiti as parties intensify campaigns ahead of the election. Supporters used the occasion to reaffirm their backing for the ADC candidate, while party officials urged residents to participate peacefully in the voting process.

Meanwhile, preparations for the election have continued across the state. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has already begun distributing sensitive election materials from the Central Bank of Nigeria in readiness for Saturday’s exercise.

With just days to the election, political parties are making final efforts to win voter support, while electoral officials and security agencies continue preparations aimed at ensuring a smooth and orderly poll across Ekiti State.
