The Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has released the names of its candidates for the 2027 general elections. The list, made public on Thursday, contains the party’s governorship, senatorial, House of Representatives and Oyo State House of Assembly candidates.
According to the list, Senator Sharafadeen Alli will fly the party’s flag in the governorship election. The APC also named Senator Yunus Akintunde as its candidate for Oyo Central Senatorial District, Hon. Aderemi Oseni for Oyo South Senatorial District and Mrs. Hannah Ogunesan for Oyo North Senatorial District.
The document also includes the names of candidates selected to contest the 14 House of Representatives seats across the state. In addition, the party released the names of its candidates for all 32 constituencies in the Oyo State House of Assembly.
The publication of the list comes as the APC prepares for the 2027 general elections in Oyo State. By releasing the names of candidates for the various elective positions, the party has completed another stage of its preparations for the polls.
The list covers all major elective offices to be contested in the state, including the governorship, Senate, House of Representatives and State House of Assembly positions. The party is expected to begin the next phase of its campaign activities with the candidates already confirmed.
