The OK Movement on Tuesday appointed Director of the Abuja School of Social and Political Thought, Dr. Sam Amadi, as the Head of its Advisory Council as the political group continues to expand its leadership structure ahead of the 2027 general elections. The appointment was announced through a statement shared on the movement’s verified X account.
The movement said Amadi’s background in public policy, law and governance would strengthen its leadership and help advance its goal of building a broad-based political movement focused on national development. It added that his experience and knowledge would support its efforts to unite Nigerians around a common vision for the country’s future.
The group also announced the addition of Nana Kazure to its growing membership, describing the move as part of its drive to bring together respected leaders, professionals and citizens who are committed to political change and national progress.
According to the movement, the latest appointments reflect its plan to strengthen its internal structure by attracting experienced individuals who can contribute to its long-term objectives ahead of the next general elections.
The OK Movement has gained attention as a political platform bringing together supporters of Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso, who are expected to fly the flag of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2027 presidential election.
With the appointment of Amadi and the inclusion of more members into its fold, the movement said it remains focused on expanding its influence and preparing for the political activities leading to the 2027 polls.
