He said Shettima had shown courage, hard work and concern for the welfare of Nigerians during his years in government.
The President also praised the Vice President for his support for the All Progressives Congress and his contribution to the implementation of the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Tinubu noted that Shettima’s role in leading the National Economic Council had helped coordinate economic policies and improve cooperation between the Federal Government and state governments.
He also credited the Vice President with supporting democratic institutions and encouraging consultation and dialogue in the running of government.
Tinubu said Shettima’s experience, loyalty and sense of responsibility had been valuable to the administration, adding that their partnership would continue as they work towards achieving the goals of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The President prayed for Allah’s continued guidance, protection and strength for Shettima and wished him good health and many more years of service to Nigeria.
