Prof. Gerald Okeke Honoured At Global Impact Summit In Abuja

Professor Okeke Gerald Ndubuisi, also known as Africa’s first Professor of Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability, has been honoured at the Global Impact Summit held at the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abuja.

The diplomatic event, which brought together ambassadors and top government officials from several countries, was centred on the theme, “Integrating the Global Framework.”

The gathering attracted representatives from countries including the United States, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Singapore, India, South Africa, Kenya, Liberia and Namibia, among others.

Prof. Okeke was one of the major speakers at the high-level event, where he joined other international figures in discussions on global cooperation and issues relating to climate change and environmental sustainability.

He was also presented with a Global Award during the event in recognition of his work and contributions to climate change advocacy and environmental sustainability.

Prof. Okeke Gerald Ndubuisi was accompanied to the prestigious global event by his wife, Amb. Engr. Dr. Ngozi Gift Okeke, who joined him as he represented his community and country on the international platform.
