Senator Ned Nwoko has reacted to the ongoing controversy surrounding his marriage with popular actress Regina Daniels, attributing her recent behavior to drug and alcohol abuse.

The lawmaker made this known through a post and video shared on his Instagram page on Sunday, where he stated that Regina’s alleged struggle with substance abuse had worsened over time and was now affecting their home.According to Nwoko, the actress, in his absence, allegedly attacked some of his domestic staff and destroyed property within their home.

He said the incident occurred within 48 hours and caused serious tension in the household.Nwoko disclosed that he had suggested two rehabilitation options for his wife — one in Asokoro and another abroad — to help her recover.

He alleged that Regina’s close friends had been supplying her with drugs and that their involvement had deepened her addiction.The senator stated that the situation became more chaotic when Regina’s brother, Sammy West, and others interfered, accusing him of assaulting the actress.

Sammy reportedly reacted online, vowing to defend his sister against any form of violence.The incident followed a viral video that surfaced online showing Regina Daniels visibly upset and shouting during a confrontation.

In the clip, she expressed frustration over alleged mistreatment in her marriage.The cause of the altercation between the couple remains unclear, as the actress and her representatives have not yet responded to the claims.
