PDP Slams APC Over Fake Viral Video Targeting Governor Mutfwang

The Plateau State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has condemned the All Progressives Congress over a viral video circulating online that allegedly tarnishes the image of Governor Caleb Mutfwang.

In a statement issued on Sunday by the PDP Publicity Secretary, Jonathan Amande, the ruling party in the state described the video as malicious and an invasion of the governor’s privacy.

It accused the APC of engaging in desperate and unethical tactics aimed at distracting the administration from its development goals.Amande said the opposition had resorted to fabricating stories because it had lost credibility among the people.

He claimed that the APC’s actions were a reflection of frustration and poor political judgment, adding that no amount of propaganda could dent the governor’s reputation.He described the video as part of a coordinated attempt to divert attention from the progress being recorded in the state under Mutfwang’s leadership.

According to him, the governor remains focused on his vision for a united and developed Plateau driven by reforms in agriculture, digital technology, and youth empowerment.

The party called on citizens to disregard the content of the video and continue to support the government’s efforts to improve the state. It urged the APC to stop spreading falsehoods and embrace constructive politics that promote peace and growth.

The PDP reiterated that Governor Mutfwang would not be distracted by political blackmail and remained determined to deliver good governance to the people of Plateau State.
