Obong Victor Attah served as governor of Akwa Ibom State from 1999 to 2007 after winning a second term in 2003. He trained as an architect and studied at Leeds College of Art, Liverpool University, and Columbia University. He also once led the Nigerian Institute of Architects.

During his years in office, Attah pushed several infrastructure projects, ranging from urban planning in Uyo to the development of public buildings, roads, and schools. In honour of his contribution to the state, the Uyo international airport was named after him.

Preparations for the biography launch are ongoing, with organisers expecting high attendance from political leaders, public officials, and associates who worked with Attah over the years.
