The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, on Friday removed the Acting Executive Chairman of the Federal Capital Territory Internal Revenue Service, Michael Ango. The decision was announced in Abuja through a statement issued by the Minister’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication and Social Media, Lere Olayinka.
According to the statement, the minister directed the most senior officer in the revenue service to take charge of the agency without delay. The move follows ongoing adjustments within FCT agencies as the administration seeks to strengthen operations and improve service delivery across the territory.
The directive takes effect immediately, and the leadership transition is expected to ensure that the work of the revenue service continues without interruption.
