Dog That Doesn’t Understand Barks, We Stay Calm – Fubara on Face-Off with Wike

Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has called on his supporters to stay calm despite ongoing political tensions with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike. The governor spoke during a New Year banquet at the Government House in Port Harcourt on Thursday.
Fubara explained that his administration is well-prepared to run smoothly and to support his reelection plans. He suggested that those making loud criticisms do so because they do not fully understand the situation. The governor reassured his supporters that his team is organized and aware of the steps needed to ensure stability in the state’s governance.
He used a metaphor to illustrate his point, comparing critics to a dog that barks when it encounters something unfamiliar. Fubara indicated that his administration, unlike the critics, understands the state’s political landscape and is focused on implementing plans effectively.
The governor reiterated that despite public noise and criticism, his government is committed to maintaining order and continuing progress in Rivers State. He encouraged residents to remain patient and confident in the leadership of his administration as it navigates the political challenges ahead.
