FCT Poll: PDP Chairmanship Candidate withdraws For APC in Bwari

The Peoples Democratic Party chairmanship candidate for Bwari Area Council, Julius Adamu, has withdrawn from the race and declared support for the All Progressives Congress candidate, Joshua Ishaku Musa, ahead of the Federal Capital Territory area council elections scheduled for February 21, 2026.

Adamu’s decision comes just days before residents of the FCT head to the polls to elect council chairmen and councillors across the six area councils.

His withdrawal is said to be linked to political discussions involving the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.
