Lagos APC Fixes State Congress for Tuesday

The All Progressives Congress in Lagos State will hold its 2026 State Congress on Tuesday, March 3, at the Mobolaji Johnson Stadium on Lagos Island.

The event is set to begin at 10am, according to a notice released on Monday by the chairman of the Lagos State Congress Committee.

The party said the congress is being organised in line with its constitution and will bring together key members from across the state.

Those expected to attend include members of the State Advisory Council, the State Chairman and members of the State Executive Committee, as well as the Governor and Deputy Governor who belong to the party.

Serving and former members of the National Assembly from Lagos who are party members have also been listed among participants.

Members of the National Executive Committee from the state, current and former members of the State House of Assembly who belong to the party, and elected Local Government Chairmen and their deputies are also expected.

Councillors from all 245 wards in the state who are members of the party will take part in the congress.

In addition, party chairmen and secretaries from all Local Government Areas, five delegates elected from each ward during the Ward Congress, and members of the Zonal Executive Committee from Lagos State are eligible to attend.

The party directed all delegates to come along with valid membership cards and official accreditation tags, as these will be required for entry into the venue.

The congress is part of the party’s internal process aimed at strengthening its structure in Lagos State ahead of future political activities.
