Speaking after the launch, the Director General explained that the group was formed to build stronger connections across communities in the region and to prepare the party for future elections. He noted that the new structure would focus on organized planning and coordinated actions across states.

The leadership of the group said it would work closely with the party’s national structure to ensure that activities in the Southeast align with broader party goals. It also pointed out that efforts have already started to engage voters and expand the party’s support base across the region.

As part of its plans, the group is encouraging members and supporters to take part in the ongoing electronic membership registration. The process is expected to help the party build a stronger database and improve coordination from polling units to the state level.

The mobilization network also called on citizens to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards, stating that participation in elections depends on having the right to vote. Members have been directed to carry out awareness campaigns and assist eligible voters in completing their registration.

In addition, state coordinators have been instructed to set up timelines for establishing structures at local government, ward, and polling unit levels. The aim is to ensure the group has a presence in all areas where elections are decided.

Party leaders present at the event were acknowledged for their role in making the launch successful, while the group expressed confidence in the party’s national leadership. The organizers said the initiative is part of a wider effort to position the party as a strong option in the 2027 elections.

The new structure is expected to begin full operations immediately as the party continues preparations for its upcoming congresses and broader political activities.
