The party said the report, which was linked to a group identified as the Arewa APC Forum in Kano, was false and intended to mislead the public. It stated that the group is not recognised within the party’s structure and does not represent the views of members in the state.

According to the APC, no official organ of the party in Kano has taken any decision to withdraw support from the president. It maintained that the state chapter remains loyal and committed to Tinubu’s leadership and policies.

The statement added that certain individuals were attempting to create confusion and division within the party through unverified claims. It urged members and the public to ignore the report, describing it as an effort to damage the party’s image.
The party also expressed confidence in the current administration, noting that it is focused on governance, economic reforms, and national development. Under the leadership of Umar Haruna Doguwa in the state, the APC said it would continue to support the president and his agenda.
It concluded by stating that the individual behind the alleged withdrawal claim is not known to the party and does not hold any position within its ranks in Kano State.
