2027: NDC Leaders Court Kwankwaso, Urge Him to Dump ADC

Former presidential candidate Rabiu Kwankwaso has held a closed-door meeting with senior officials of the Nigeria Democratic Congress as fresh moves emerge to bring him into the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The meeting took place after NDC National Deputy Chairman Muhammad Rabiu Sabo Bakin and National Publicity Secretary Ibrahim Ahmad Waya visited the former Kano State governor to persuade him to leave the African Democratic Congress and join their party.

Party officials also moved to reassure Kwankwaso that he and his supporters would be welcomed into the NDC and given room to play major roles if he decides to make the switch.
