Elliot refused to speak deeply on reports linking him to the ongoing tension involving the Lagos State House of Assembly leadership and the presidency. He said the matter was beyond his direct involvement and preferred to focus on his responsibilities to his constituents and the party.

The lawmaker stated that his main concern ahead of the next elections is to ensure continued support for the APC in Surulere and contribute to President Tinubu’s second-term ambition in 2027. He added that he wanted the president to complete projects and leave behind lasting achievements.

He also admitted that recent political events had pushed him closer to his faith and made him depend more on God while carrying out his duties as a politician.

Elliot further confirmed that he remained a committed member of the APC and would continue to support the party’s plans ahead of future elections.
