ADC Inaugurates Ekiti Governorship Campaign Committee

As political activities gradually gather pace ahead of the Ekiti governorship election, the African Democratic Congress has taken a major step by inaugurating a campaign committee to oversee its electoral efforts in the state.

The party said the committee will play a central role in organising and managing campaign operations. Its responsibilities include coordinating activities across the state, building support among voters, engaging community leaders and other stakeholders, and promoting the party’s programmes to residents.

According to the ADC, the committee members were selected to help drive the party’s objectives and ensure that its message reaches all parts of Ekiti State. The party expressed confidence in the ability of the team to carry out the assignment and contribute to a successful campaign ahead of the election.

The ADC also extended congratulations to those appointed into the committee, describing them as individuals entrusted with the responsibility of helping the party achieve its goals in the state.

The formation of the committee comes as political parties continue to position themselves for the governorship contest. With preparations gathering momentum, the ADC said it remains committed to presenting its vision for governance and offering Ekiti residents an alternative political platform in the coming election.

Party leaders believe the newly inaugurated committee will help strengthen grassroots mobilisation and improve coordination among supporters as the election season approaches.

The committee is expected to begin work immediately as the party intensifies preparations for the governorship race.
