Osun Poll: Oyebamiji Meets Sanwo-Olu, Aiyedatiwa, Akande, APC Leaders

The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Osun State, Bola Oyebamiji, on Monday said the party’s South-West leaders have renewed their support for his campaign ahead of the August 15 governorship election.

The assurance came after a strategic meeting held at the Lagos State House in Marina, where party leaders reviewed campaign plans and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation before the poll.

The meeting was attended by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, former Osun State Governor Chief Bisi Akande, as well as APC governorship candidates from Lagos, Ogun and Oyo states.

According to Oyebamiji, the gathering focused on improving coordination among party leaders and ensuring a united approach as the election draws closer.

Following the meeting, Oyebamiji said the party leaders agreed that unity and close collaboration remain necessary for the APC to achieve success in the South-West.

He noted that the discussions also provided an opportunity to assess the campaign strategy and prepare for the final stage of the electioneering process in Osun State.

The APC candidate said the support and advice from senior party figures had strengthened his confidence and determination to continue engaging with residents across the state. He added that their experience would help guide the campaign as it seeks to convince voters ahead of the election.

Oyebamiji also restated his plans for Osun if elected governor. He said his administration would focus on improving the state’s economy, creating more opportunities for young people, empowering residents and ensuring responsible governance. He added that his campaign would continue reaching out to different communities and stakeholders with its programmes and vision for the state.

He expressed confidence that the APC would secure victory in the August 15 governorship election, saying the party’s united front, the support of its National Campaign Council and the backing of the people of Osun would strengthen its chances at the polls.

He maintained that his goal is to deliver an administration that will improve the lives of residents and promote lasting development across the state.
