It was gathered that gunmen, numbering over 70, stormed the town on motorcycles, shooting sporadically.

Gunshots were heard raging from the town as the source called spoke on phone to newsmen

It was further learnt residents have abandoned the town into a nearby bush.
The Police Public Relations Officer of the Niger State Command, ASP Wasiu Abiodun could not be reached for comments on the bandits attack.
