“No Intention To Embarrass” – Dunamis Releases Statement On Halted Testimony Saga Involving NOUN Law Graduate

Dunamis International Gospel Centre has released an official statement regarding the incident that occurred on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at the Glory Dome, the church’s global headquarters in Abuja.

The incident involved a testifier, Ms. Anyim Veronica Nnenna, who shared her testimony of being the first person in her family to graduate from university.

According to the statement, the Senior Pastor, Dr. Paul Enenche, stopped the testimony immediately, citing concerns about the testifier’s spoken English, the duration of her Law studies, and her inability to correctly state the degree she obtained. These factors led the Senior Pastor to question the authenticity of her testimony.

However, it was later confirmed that Ms. Anyim Veronica Nnenna had indeed graduated from a university. The church clarified that the Senior Pastor’s action was based on the church’s aversion to mediocrity and any appearance of untruth, and was not intended to embarrass the testifier publicly or cause media frenzy.

The statement emphasized that the church remains resolute in its passion for excellence and intolerance of mediocrity and falsehood. It also acknowledged that no harm or hurt was intended against Ms. Anyim Veronica by the Senior Pastor, who has expressed deep concern and reached out to her personally.

Dunamis International Gospel Centre regretted any inconvenience, hurt, and embarrassment caused to Ms. Anyim Veronica Nnenna by the unfortunate scenario. The church reaffirmed its commitment to her physical welfare and spiritual growth.
