A Pastor in Ekiti State, Lawanson Akinola, has been arrested and arraigned for allegedly raping his teenage househelp.

According to reports, Pastor Akinola of the Churches of Christ, Ido Ekiti, requested for the 13-year-old girl to assist him in taking care of his four-year-old son after the mother traveled out of the country.

However, the teenage house help confirmed that the pastor forcefully had carnal knowledge of her the very first day she stepped into his house and the act continued for over one year until she confided in her school teacher, who reported the case to appropriate authorities.
