The Majority Leader of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Olatunji Oshati, has dismissed reports suggesting a leadership crisis in the legislature. Social media claims had circulated that some lawmakers passed a vote of no confidence against Speaker Olamide Oladiji and were preparing to impeach him over alleged misconduct.

Oshati clarified that the House is functioning normally and there is no move to remove the Speaker. He assured the public that legislative duties are continuing smoothly and that the members are united in serving the state. The leader also noted that impeachment has not been raised at any plenary sessions or committee meetings.
