Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State has completed his registration with the All Progressives Congress after collecting his membership card on Sunday in Jalingo. The card was handed to him by the chairman of the APC Hospital Ward in Wukari Local Government Area, Umaru Tanko, during a short event held at the TY Danjuma House.

After the registration, the governor stated that collecting the card formally confirmed his place in the APC and now allows him to fully take part in party affairs. He also revealed that his planned public defection event, which was earlier delayed, will be fixed for a later date and held soon.

Party officials present at the event welcomed Kefas into the APC, describing him as a registered and recognized member of the party. The Commissioner for Information and Reorientation, Zainab Usman Jalingo, also confirmed that the governor’s registration process has been completed.

With the collection of the membership card, Governor Kefas has now taken over the leadership of the APC in Taraba State, following his formal entry into the party.
