Senator Natasha Protests Exclusion from North Central Committee

She sought clarification from the committee clerk but was directed to the office of the committee chairman, Senator Titus Tartenger Zam.

A confrontation reportedly followed, with the senator alleging that the exclusion was instructed by higher authorities, though no specifics were given.

During the incident, aides linked to the committee chairman reportedly engaged members of Akpoti-Uduaghan’s media team and took her cinematographer’s phone. The senator described the actions as hostile and unacceptable.

Akpoti-Uduaghan reaffirmed her commitment to fairness and institutional integrity, saying her position is guided by the electoral mandate she received from the people of Kogi Central.

She pledged to continue advocating for equal treatment for all senators and to protect legislative rights within the National Assembly.
