He noted that members in the state conducted themselves well during the process and urged the new executives to focus on rebuilding the party ahead of future elections.

During the inauguration, the party’s South-East National Vice Chairman, Chidiebere Goodluck Egwu, congratulated the new leaders and asked them to work closely with stakeholders to unite members across the state.

He also advised them to ensure that party members take part in the ongoing registration process in line with the provisions of the Electoral Act 2025.

The newly inaugurated committee includes several other officials assigned to different roles such as deputy chairman, treasurer, legal adviser, organising secretary, youth leader, women leader, publicity secretary, financial secretary, and auditors, among others. These members are expected to manage the party’s affairs in the state and prepare for upcoming political activities.

The party believes the new leadership will help strengthen its structure in Ebonyi State as it plans for the 2027 general elections and works to regain support across the region.
