Onofiok Luke Congratulates Newly-promoted Generals from Akwa Ibom

House of Representatives member representing Etinan/Nsit Ibom/Nsit Ubium Federal Constituency in Akwa Ibom State, Hon. Onofiok Luke has congratulated the army officers from the State, who were promoted to the general cadre of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Luke particularly congratulated Rear Admiral Uduak Asuquo Ibanga, Brigadier General Obot Silas Obot and Air Commodore Ekongubong Akpabio, who are from the three local government areas constituting Etinan, Nsit Ibom and Nsit Ubium, his federal constituency.

“On behalf of my family and the entire people of Etinan/Nsit Ibom/Nsit Ubium Federal Constituency, I congratulate three of my constituents on their elevation in the general cadre of the Armed Forces of The Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“I am delighted with the promotion of Rear Admiral Uduak Asuquo Ibanga, Brigadier General Obot Silas Obot and Air Commodore Ekongubong Akpabio from the three local government areas constituting my Federal constituency, Etinan, Nsit Ibom and Nsit Ubium, respectively.

“I also congratulate , Major General Uwem Udo Bassey, Air Vice Marshal Mfon Jackson Ekpoh, Brigadier General I. E. E. Akpaumontia, Brigadier General I. U. Akpan, Air Commodore Patrick Edem, Air Commodore Emmanuel Ukpong, from the rest of the state who were similarly promoted.

“This is indeed a reward for professionalism, hard work, commitment to duty, service to our fatherland and the grace of God. The nine generals have indeed made Akwa Ibom State proud.

“May God guide, protect and give our newly promoted generals the grace and more wisdom, to justify their promotion and the confidence reposed in them by the military high command, by discharging their responsibilities more.

“My appreciation to Mr President and Commander- In- Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammadu Buhari GCFR and the entire hierarchy of the Armed Forces for recognizing the hard work and diligence to duty of our sons with these promotions,”
Onofiok Luke said.
