APC crisis: Suit filed against new membership registration adjourned till Friday

A suit aimed at stopping the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) new membership registration has been adjourned till Friday, December 11, 2020.

The suit filed against the APC National and it’s Chairman by some unidentified persons claiming to be Rivers APC is at the Okrika Judicial Division of the Rivers State High Court.

The claimants/Applicants; Sunday Hawkins, Julius Nbugere, Lucky Nweke, Florence Deigh and Anthony Nwauche, are seeking to stop the National Caretaker of the APC led by Gov Mai Bulu and his agents from conducting any membership registration/revalidation exercise since there are no validly elected Ward Executives of the party.

The Judge has ordered the Applicants to serve by way of substituted means, the Defendants/Respondents through the Rivers State Office of the APC at No 63 Aba Road, for hearing notice.

She has also adjourned the matter for hearing on December 11, 2020.
