Governors elected under the All Progressives Congress (APC) met behind closed doors on Thursday night at the Council Chamber of the Kebbi State Government House, Birnin Kebbi, to discuss key national and party matters.

The meeting, chaired by Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, brought together members of the Progressive Governors Forum, the official body of APC governors. The discussions were centered on issues affecting the nation and internal matters within the ruling party.

Although the APC National Chairman, Nentawe Yilwatda, was also in Kebbi State for the event, he did not participate in the meeting. He had earlier announced that he would be attending the inauguration of the Tinubu Kauran Gwandu Movement for Continuity State Secretariat, also scheduled in the state.

According to reports, the two-day gathering will continue with further deliberations among the governors on strategies to strengthen party unity and ensure effective governance across APC-controlled states.
The closed-door session comes amid ongoing political developments in the country, as the party continues to consolidate its position ahead of future elections and national engagements.
