According to the statement released on Monday, the refinery is currently producing between 40 and 50 million litres of Premium Motor Spirit each day. The company explained that this level of supply is expected to remain steady throughout January and February, depending on market demand.
The refinery disclosed that on January 4, it produced 50 million litres of petrol and distributed 48 million litres. It added that its available fuel stock can cover more than 20 days of Nigeria’s fuel needs.
Management clarified that routine maintenance work being carried out on some units has not affected production. It said the processing units responsible for petrol, diesel, and Jet A-1 fuel are fully operational and running smoothly.
Dangote Refinery also confirmed that its ex-gantry price for petrol remains N699 per litre. The company stated that the price applies equally to all marketers and bulk buyers and encouraged stakeholders to support locally refined petroleum products.
