The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has taken steps to address internal disputes as its Board of Trustees (BoT) and the National Caretaker Committee reaffirmed their commitment to unity, compliance with court rulings, and preparations for pending congresses leading up to a national convention.

He also thanked the FCT Minister for standing with the Caretaker Committee, saying it strengthened the committee’s determination to reposition the PDP.
Mohammed said that with the holiday period over, it was time for action to fulfill the mandate given to the Caretaker Committee. He confirmed the Ibadan High Court’s declaratory judgment in favor of the committee, stating that the law is clear and the party will continue to pursue justice. He announced that a timetable for outstanding congresses in several states will soon be released to pave the way for a seamless national convention.
The caretaker chairman described the PDP as a party built around the people, with national structures, coherence, and verifiable legacies, warning that the party must remain active and vigilant.
