The All Progressives Congress has announced a revised timetable for its nationwide congresses, national convention, and other related activities planned for 2026. The party made this known through an official notice shared on its verified social media platform on Friday.
According to the update, the new timetable covers internal elections, nomination processes, and preparations for key party events scheduled for the year. The party stated that the adjustments were made to meet organisational needs and to allow for orderly conduct of activities across all states.
The APC also informed members and aspirants that expression of interest and nomination forms for party positions will be available only at the Directorate of Organisation located at the party’s national secretariat in Wuse 2, Abuja. It noted that forms obtained from any other source will not be accepted.
The revised timetable is expected to guide party members through the various stages of congresses and the national convention, which remains a major event in the party’s calendar ahead of the general elections.
In a related update, the party announced changes to the Central Coordination Committee for the 2026 national convention. The adjustments affect the leadership and membership of the committee and were made to reflect internal zoning arrangements within the party.
The APC said these steps are part of ongoing efforts to organise its activities properly as it prepares for the 2026 convention and other key political engagements.
