Aishatu Binani, a former governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Adamawa State, on Friday announced in Adamawa that she has moved to the Nigerian Democratic Congress ahead of the 2027 elections.

Her move comes after earlier shifts in her political journey. In July 2025, she left the APC following disagreements with party leaders in Adamawa and joined the African Democratic Congress. Months later, fresh issues surfaced within the ADC, leading to unrest among her supporters.
