2027: APC Vows to Hold Makinde Accountable Over Use of Oyo Funds for Presidential bid

The Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has warned Governor Seyi Makinde that he will be required to account for public funds allegedly spent on his 2027 presidential ambition after leaving office.

The party made this known on Sunday, September 6, 2026, in a statement issued by its Publicity Secretary, Wasiu Sadare, following Makinde’s emergence as the presidential candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement, APM.
