The Independent National Electoral Commission has updated its official website with the new logo of the Nigeria Democratic Congress and revised details of the party’s national leadership.

The update, made on Thursday, September 10, 2026, lists Cleopas Moses Zuwoghe as the National Chairman of the NDC, while Ikenna Morgan Enekweizu is identified as the National Secretary.
John Odey is listed as the National Treasurer, with Mainasara Abubakar Sani named as the National Financial Secretary. Reuben Egwuaba is also listed as the party’s National Legal Adviser.
INEC indicated that the changes to the five positions were made based on a court order. The commission also uploaded the NDC’s new logo on its platform following the court decision concerning the party’s request for recognition of its revised identity.
The development followed a judgment by Justice J. O. Abdulmalik of the Federal High Court in Abuja in a case involving the NDC and INEC.

The case, filed as FHC/ABJ/CS/1814/2026, was brought by the political party over INEC’s refusal to recognise and upload its modified logo and colour design.
The NDC had approached the court after adopting a new logo and colour arrangement at its first National Executive Committee meeting. The party challenged the electoral commission’s decision not to update its records with the new design.
In a judgment delivered on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, Justice Abdulmalik ruled in favour of the NDC.
The court found that INEC’s refusal to recognise the modified logo was contrary to the law and violated the rights of the political party.
Following the judgment, INEC has now reflected the new logo on its website and adjusted the leadership information attached to the NDC.
The latest update gives the party’s new logo and listed national officers official recognition on the electoral commission’s online platform in line with the court’s directive.
