Ozoro Incident: Police Arrest More Suspects Over Assault Reports

Delta State Police Command has arrested seven additional suspects over alleged sexual assaults that took place in Oramudu Quarters in the Ozoro area of the state. The arrests were confirmed on Saturday as part of ongoing investigations into the disturbing incident.

The case gained attention after videos circulated widely on social media showing men attacking women during what was described online as a festival. The footage caused anger among the public, with many calling for swift action against those involved.

Police had earlier arrested the alleged organiser along with four others shortly after the videos surfaced. Following further investigation, more suspects were identified through video evidence and intelligence gathering, leading to the latest arrests. Authorities say the number of people currently in custody in connection with the incident has risen to fifteen.
