The All Progressives Congress has announced when and where its National Caucus and National Executive Committee meetings will take place as part of its activities for December. The party released the information through an official notice signed by its National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru, and shared on the party’s website on Wednesday.
The meetings are planned for the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja, with the National Caucus gathering first on Monday, 15 December 2025, at 6:00 p.m. According to the party, the caucus will bring together top members who serve in different arms of the party, including the national leadership, former and serving presidents and vice presidents who belong to the APC, former and serving governors, past and present leaders of the National Assembly, presidential and vice-presidential candidates, state chairmen, zonal leaders, and other representatives recognised by the party’s constitution.
The notice states that the meeting will run according to Article 11 of the APC Constitution, which outlines the members that make up the caucus and how it should function. Those listed in that section of the constitution have been asked to take note of the date and time.
The National Executive Committee meeting will follow on Tuesday, 16 December 2025, at noon. This gathering will bring together another large group of party leaders who carry out major decisions of the APC. The NEC, guided by Article 13 of the APC Constitution, includes national officers, deputies, financial officers, publicity officers, auditors, welfare officers, state chairmen, zonal representatives, and members chosen at the party’s national convention.
The notice explains that all members who fall under the NEC category must take note of the invitation and be present for the meeting. The gathering is expected to address party matters that require the attention of the executive committee as the year draws to a close.
The announcement comes as the ruling party prepares for various political activities leading into 2026 and continues to organise its internal structure through scheduled meetings at the national level.
