He explained that the event marks the conclusion of the party’s statewide campaign activities, which have covered communities, wards and local government areas across Ekiti State in recent months.

The campaign council said the gathering is expected to attract a large crowd and serve as a display of support for the governor’s second-term ambition.

According to the council, the rally comes after several endorsements from traditional rulers, professional associations, traders, artisans, youth groups, women organisations, civil servants, retirees, religious leaders and political stakeholders from different backgrounds.

The APC also stated that the expected attendance of top party leaders reflects the importance of Ekiti State to the ruling party and shows confidence in Oyebanji’s leadership.

The council noted that the governor’s administration has carried out projects and programmes in areas such as infrastructure, healthcare, education, agriculture, security, tourism, youth development and economic growth since he assumed office.

It added that Oyebanji’s style of governance and efforts to maintain cooperation among different groups in the state have helped strengthen public support for his administration.

The campaign council further said residents across the state have continued to show support for the governor during campaign visits, citing his accessibility and engagement with the people.

According to the council, the rally will also provide an opportunity for supporters to celebrate the achievements of the administration and reaffirm their backing for the governor’s re-election.

Organisers assured participants that security and logistics arrangements have been put in place for the event. They also urged supporters and residents attending the rally to remain peaceful and obey all security and traffic regulations throughout the programme.
